Small pick up trucks vehicle - advice needed
The range of cars below can be leased through my business as a work Van and thus I can get tax benefit and VAT back etc.

Has anyone on here leased any of the below:

- Nissan navarra
- Ford Ranger
- VW Amarok
- Toyota Hilux
- Mitzubishi L200
- Fiat Full Back

They all range in price - haven't really got a clue which one would be best to lease.

cheers

Top gear tried to destroy a Toyota and failed .

When they wanted to drive to the pole they chose the Toyota over every other brand available .

Should tell you all you need to know .

Work out what’s the most important to you (payload , seats) and work back from there.

Yeah if you're going on safari or hill climbing then a Toyota Land Cruiser is the way to go

As a car they are all shit and will cost a fortune in fuel.
As a truck - the Toyota.

Assuming youre not going to the pole, reguarly off roading or looking to destory it then just get the cheapest/best deal and choose that.

And avoid the Fiat

Re: Small pick up trucks vehicle - advice needed
i'll be using it as a car primarily - these are the only motors I can fit my family into and still get the tax wrote off - if I lease a merc estate or something it would go down as earnings and I'd be taxed on it instead of it being a business cost.

So in reality I aint going to be needing these for off road or load capability just wanted to know if anyone has any of them and what they were like to run etc.

Looks like the hilux Is the winner and few other people have said as much !

If it’s going to be used as a car get the most comfy one .

An old boss had an X5 and got vat etc back on it as it had 7 seats .

When I was looking at this and did some research, the VW is the most refined in your list, and the cheapest is the L200/Fiat which are exactly the same car but with different badges on.

So if you want the best, most car like ride, go the VW.

If you want cheapest see the best deal you can get between the Fiat and the L200.

If you want the most "true pickup" experience and to help with cost and refinement ai believe the Toyota is the pick
Nissan and Ford both had bad reliability and had little to make them stand out.

Thanks mate ! The VW is £125 extra per month aswell so I think all roads are leading to the Hilux !!
